Pittsburgh Steelers inside linebacker Patrick Queen received a spot in the NFL’s Top 100 Players of 2025 by votes from his peers.

Last season, the Pittsburgh Steelers made two big acquisitions at inside linebacker. One of those was the signing of Patrick Queen, the former Baltimore Raven. Though he had an up-and-down 2024, he earned the respect of his peers and earned a spot in the NFL’s Top 100 Players of 2025.

Queen came in at 75th in the 2025 rankings. After signing a three-year, $41 million deal last March, he received Pro Bowl honors for his efforts in the 2024 season.

Queen will be relied upon heavily to provide a stable veteran presence in 2025. With a new linebacker coach and a few changes in the secondary, he was prepared to make those adjustments in OTAs.

“It’s a little bit of a few new people, but nothing crazy,” Queen said in May. “Just getting comfortable with the new stuff we’re doing right now, getting comfortable with the new coach, and understanding how he wants us to play. It’s mostly the same fundamentals, just with some new nuances here and there.”

“We got young guys coming in with Jack [Sawyer] off the edge. We got some new corners, some new safeties, so that’s gonna be fun,” he said regarding changes to the personnel.

Queen had a 2024 season that ended on a sour note against his former team. In that game, he also battled the flu. His best game, though, came against that same Ravens team in the middle of the season.

Queen–and the rest of his defensive peers–should take a step forward this season. It could give them a chance to sweeten revenge this season.
