The recently retired Arizona Cardinal will announce the teams day two selections.
The NFL is having former players announce day two selections at the 2025 NFL Draft, so of course the Arizona Cardinals will have their newly retired and reconciled cornerback Patrick Peterson involved.
From the team:
Recently retired Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson will join other NFL Legends and active players at the NFL Draft in Green Bay on Friday, April 25 to announce second and third round picks on the second day of the 2025 NFL Draft.
He will announce the Cardinals second-round (47th overall) and third-round selections (78th overall) in Green Bay.
Peterson spent 10 seasons (2011-20) with the Cardinals after joining the team as a first-round selection (5th overall) in the 2011 NFL Draft out of LSU. An eight-time Pro Bowler and three-time first-team All-Pro selection – all with Arizona - Peterson was named to the 2010-19 All-Decade Team by the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s selection committee.
The return of Peterson to the Arizona Cardinals organization is complete.
