Randi Mahomes has gone through hell and back when it comes to her parents.
Randi’s mother, Debbie Bates Martin, died in April 2023 at age 72.
Before the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in the 2024 Super Bowl, she paid tribute to her late mother on Instagram. She wrote, “Momma i know you are cheering today from Heaven. I miss you every single day.. I can hear you yelling, ‘Go Patrick.'”
Randi couldn’t help but think of her late mom this week after seeing her face again.

Randi Mahomes was watching ‘The Kingdom’ on ESPN+ when she saw a glimpse of her late mother, Debbie Bates Martin, while watching one of the six episodes.
In one clip, the quarterback could be seen hugging his grandmother, while she was seen behind him in a home video in another moment.
‘My momma made a cameo on Kingdom tonight!!!’ Randi wrote on Facebook. ‘Miss her so much!!! I know she’s smiling (well…YELLING LOUD) from Heaven!!
In late January, Randi announced that her father, Randy, had been moved into hospice care.
Just two days before the Bills-Chiefs showdown, she posted a photo on her Instagram Stories and wrote, “My dad is in hospice care & I’m a loss for words 🙏🙏🙏.”
Five days after Kansas City’s Super Bowl loss to the Eagles, Randi Mahomes announced that her father had passed away.

Randi addressed the speculation after sharing that she couldn’t watch the Chiefs’ preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals.
“What’s up with this!!! NOT OK,” she said alongside a picture of a television screen with the message: “This program is blocked in your area.”
In response to the post, X user @The_GarySmith posted a screenshot and said, “I’m just glad you’re still with us,” he wrote.
She replied: “And I’m only 49 years old… they always mess up my age lol.”
