It was a rough night for Patrick Mahomes at the 2025 Super Bowl.
He threw a bunch of interceptions, got sacked a lot, and he watched as the Philadelphia Eagles piled up the points in a 40-22 win on Sunday. But the QB didn’t blame anyone but himself in a heartfelt post on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday night.
Appreciate all the love and support from Chiefs Kingdom,” he wrote. “I let y’all down today. I’ll always continue to work and try and learn and be better for it. Want to give thanks to God for every opportunity he has given me.”
Then, he ended it with a bold claim.
“We will be back,” he wrote.
