A viral video has emerged of Patrick Mahomes’ father, Pat Mahomes Sr., nearly getting into a heated fistfight with former MLB pitcher John Rocker in New Orleans during Super Bowl 59 week.

Pat Mahomes Sr., also a former MLB pitcher, was in New Orleans to cheer on his son and the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 59. But there would be no celebration for the Mahomes family, as the Chiefs were dominated 40-22 by the Philadelphia Eagles in the big game.

As if Super Bowl 59 week wasn’t hectic and stressful enough for the Kansas City signal-caller, imagine learning that your old man nearly got into a full-blown fistfight with another former MLBer.

Yes, that actually almost happened. As you can see in the video below, Mahomes Sr. and Rocker nearly got into a fight on Bourbon Street during Super Bowl week. The exact date of the incident isn’t clear, but good on those people who courageously stepped in to prevent the altercation from turning physical:
