Second-year NFL wide receiver Xavier Legette is a man of many talents. The Carolina Panthers pass-catcher became a fan favorite after the draft last year because of his unlikely country accent and is one of the more popular younger players in the league.
It appears he’s about to get even more popular as he’s appeared in a steamy music video with rapper GloRilla, playing her other half as they get up close and personal in her new release, “Typa.”
Legette and GloRilla, whose real name is Gloria Woods, share several intimate moments in the three-minute video, with the wideout showing off his shirtless body while the Tennessee rapper wears some sultry lingerie.
At one point, he’s seen holding her around her neck and kissing her.
The video, which samples Keyshia Cole’s hit song “Love” as the hook, also sees Cole make an appearance. Fans praised the fact that she was involved.
Check it out right below:
“This was a BOP!!!! And I LOVEEEEE how she ALSO had Keisha in the video!!” someone declared.
“I love that she paid Homage to Keyshia by putting her in the video.. that was dope!” another agreed.
“Glorilla done gave flowers to alot of old school greats through features/appearances,” said a third.
“I hope we get a video of Glo and Xavier having a normal conversation I just want to hear how the accents clash or gel badd,” someone else offered.
Xavier Legette being in the vid could prompt relationship rumors, but it’s doubtful that they’re actually a thing. He was just a great fit for the song, given that she sings about her love for a country man with very specific attributes.
