Last week, the Carolina Panthers were riding high off of a tough road win against the Green Bay Packers. A +.500 record and an easy home opponent on the horizon had us all thinking playoffs. Then the lowly New Orleans Saints sold out against the run and dared Bryce Young to do anything at all to beat them.
We all saw what happened there.
Now the Panthers are visiting an Atlanta Falcons team motivated by their own embarassing loss in Charlotte. What’s actually going to happen today is anybody’s guess. Another Falcons shutout is as likely as another overtime thriller, echoing the 2024 season finale, is as likely as a Panthers shutout. That’s just how our favorite team rolls.
I can’t promise it will be fun, but I can promise that it will happen and that we’ll be here every step of the way. This is your open thread to follow along with us for all the action today.
