Adam “Pacman” Jones just can’t seem to stay away from trouble. The former NFL cornerback is back in the headlines after body camera footage surfaced showing a chaotic and profanity-laced encounter with police in Covington, Kentucky.

The June 7 incident began outside a local bar and ended with Jones in handcuffs, hurling obscenities, and allegedly elbowing an officer in the face.

TMZ Sports obtained the video, which captures Jones spiraling from loud complaints to physical resistance as officers tried to detain him. What started as a simple stop to ask questions about a bar dispute quickly turned into a volatile situation.

“Shut the f*** up,” Jones shouted at one officer during the ride to jail. At one point, he even told the cop to “suck my d***,” and called him a “coward.” That wasn’t the worst of it.

Body Cam Footage Shows Escalation

Police stopped Jones around midnight after a report of a heated dispute involving him and his group at a nearby bar. According to the footage, the moment officers approached, Jones raised his voice, attempted to walk off, then briefly calmed down to tell his side. He said the disagreement involved a bar employee and insisted he had done nothing wrong.

But as soon as he finished talking, Jones tried to leave again. Officers stepped in and cuffed him on the spot. That’s when things took a sharp turn.

While in custody, Jones unleashed a string of vulgar rants, ignoring repeated explanations that he was part of an ongoing investigation. Inside the police vehicle, he kept berating the officer, escalating the tension with personal insults and taunts for over half an hour.

The situation worsened at the jail. Surveillance footage shows Jones swinging his elbows toward an officer. One reportedly connected with the officer’s mouth. “My lip is bleeding,” the officer said immediately after.

Police booked Jones for public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and assaulting a police officer. He pleaded not guilty in court on June 11. His rep told TMZ Sports that Jones “did nothing wrong other than exercise his right to ask why he was being detained.” Neither he nor his team have commented on the release of the video footage.

Jones, a former first-round NFL draft pick, has faced numerous legal issues throughout his career. This latest incident adds another chapter to his long, troubled history with law enforcement.
