The final Sunday of the NFL’s 2025 regular season has arrived, bringing the Green Bay Packers an ultimately meaningless game against the Minnesota Vikings. The Packers are locked into the 7th seed in the NFC playoffs while the Vikings are out of the postseason, meaning this game is just for pride — and for the Packers, preserving their health.

To that end, Green Bay will start third stringer Clayton Tube at quarterback today, with normal starter Jordan Love as his backup. Malik Willis is out for this game as he deals woth multiple injuries, while running back Josh Jacobs and a handful of other key players join him on the game day inactive list.

The Packers should get a long look at several young players in this game, many of whom will likely be playing more prominent roles in 2026. Zach Tom, Edgerrin Cooper, and Xavier McKinney are also sitting out this game as they prepare for the Packers’ Wild Card playoff opponent.

That team will be decided this afternpon by the games featuring the Chicago Bears and the Philadelphia Eagles.
