Acme Packing Company
As one famous Chicago sports icon once said, “let’s play two.”
One big late-season rivalry game between the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears apparently wasn’t enough, so today we get a second one in just 13 days. The two teams will battle for the NFC North lead yet again tonight, with the winner set to hold the NFC’s #2 playoff seed and the division lead by the end of the night.
The Packers got the better of their rivals two weeks ago at Lambeau Field in a 28-21 victory. Keisean Nixon’s interception in the end zone sealed the deal, sending the Packers above the Bears in the standings. But last Sunday, the Packers lost in Denver while the Bears trounced the listless Browns, flipping positions in the NFC North table once again ahead of today’s rematch.
Can the Packers pull off a season sweep of Chicago despite no longer having Micah Parsons for the rest of the season, not to mention missing a few other key players who were injured last week? Or will the Bears, who are a bit shorthanded on offense themselves, split the season series and take a 1.5-game lead on Green Bay with two weeks to go?
Tune in to find out and join us in the comments section to discuss tonight’s game!
