New year, new look! The Green Bay Packers have unveiled their newly upgraded locker room just before the start of training camp. The team shared photos and videos across social media, showing off their new digs.

The iconic “G” still remains in the center of the locker room, but with noticeable upgrades surrounding it. The team appears to have injected the space with a multitude of digital screens, including one that runs along the top of all the lockers and can display the name and photo of the player who occupies it, among other things. There’s a helmet compartment within each locker that lights up, adding a pop of brightness in the darker-toned space. It appears the team also made several lighting adjustments, including touches of green and gold to match the team’s colors.

According to the team’s NFLPA grading released earlier this year, the Packers’ locker rooms were a common complaint among players, specifically that they weren’t big enough. It remains to be seen exactly how much bigger they are, but they at least look nicer!

This, of course, won’t be the only big unveiling this week. The Packers are set to release a new jersey design for the upcoming season this week that’s expected to include a helmet airbrushed to resemble the league’s old leather helmets.

Players are getting a few nice welcome-back presents as they settle in for the upcoming season. What do you think, Packers fans? Will the team get higher than a “B” for locker room grades this year?
