The Green Bay Packers had placed receiver Savion Williams (foot) and offensive lineman Donovan Jennings (throat) on the injured reserve, where they’ll join defensive tackle Jordon Riley, cornerback Nate Hobbs, cornerback Kamal Hadden and safety Zayne Anderson, four other players who were put on the IR earlier this week.
Williams has been dealing with a foot injury all year, one that left him in a walking boot leading up to games. Williams, like Jennings, was ruled out in Week 18 by the Packers on Friday.
Jennings suffered a throat injury in Wednesday’s practice, according to the coaching staff.
Williams and Jennings going on IR opened up two roster spots, which the Packers used to bring up receiver Jakobie Keeney-James and offensive lineman Lecitus Smith from the practice squad to the 53-man roster.
