You decide who Green Bay will take with the 23rd overall pick

It’s Monday, so that means it’s time to start another round of mock draft voting. As we did in our Packers Mock Draft 1.0, whichever player receives the top post in terms of “rec”s in the comment section will be awarded to your Green Bay Packers this round.

Here’s a recap of how mock 1.0 went for the Packers:

Packers Mock Draft 1.0

  • #23 Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon
  • #54 Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame
  • #87 Savion Williams, WR, TCU

You could argue that Green Bay’s biggest need is defensive end, which went unaddressed in our first community mock draft. Instead, the voters chose to give the Packers two big Day 2 swings in cornerback Benjamin Morrison, who was considered a first-round lock before a season-ending hip injury required surgery, and receiver Savion Williams, an incredible athlete who is more football player than pass-catcher at the moment.

Last time, we used Pro Football Focus’ mock draft simulator. This time, we’re going to use the NFL Mock Draft Database simulator, the home of the consensus draft board.

After simulating up to the 23rd overall pick, the following top 40 ranked players were still available for the Packers to choose.
