The lights will be on at Lambeau Field tonight as the Packers take the field for the first time in 2025.
The Green Bay Packers are all set to hold their annual Family Night Practice, marking the 24th edition of the annual event at Lambeau Field. As has been the case since 2014, this year’s event is a modified practice rather than a scrimmage, but the surrounding events make for a fantastic night of fun and an unofficial opening for Lambeau Field for the upcoming season.
Tonight’s practice will be the first time the stadium will be used for a major event since the 2025 NFL Draft, which was held in Green Bay in April. It is also the 9th practice of training camp for the Packers, who will begin to close up many of their remaining practices from the public in preparation for preseason games.
In fact, the Packers will have just six more open practices this summer, three coming next week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Those come in advance of the team’s first preseason game next Saturday, a home game against the New York Jets.
This year, Family Night will be live-streamed for all to see on the Packers’ official website and app, a practice that the team finally put into place in 2024 after significant public demand. Here’s how and when to tune in for tonight’s practice!
