The Green Bay Packers may be locked into the #7 seed in the NFC playoffs, but their opponents are still to be determined. Green Bay could end up with a trip to play either the Chicago Bears or the Philadelphia Eagles, depending on the results of the games featuring those two teams.
The paths are simple: if the Bears defeat the Detroit Lions or the Eagles lose to the Washington Commanders, Chicago gets the #2 seed and will host the Packers. Only if the Bears lose and the Eagles win would Green Bay travel to Philadelphia instead. Those two games are both taking place in the late afternoon time slot today, with the NFL trying to maximize the chances that the two games are both competitive.
The Packers, of course, play in the early afternoon slot, with their game against the Minnesota Vikings meaning nothing for postseason purposes. Green Bay will sit most of their key players, including quarterback Jordan Love, instead starting Clayton Tune at quarterback against Brian Flores’ impressive defense.
Sunday Night Football will bring the NFL’s regular season to a close tonight with a winner-take-all game in the AFC North. The winner of that Ravens-Steelers game goes to the playoffs as the AFC’s #4 seed, while the losing team goes home for the winter.
The full Sunday schedule is below, so tune in for all of today’s games and discuss in the comments!
