Acme Packing Company
With running back Josh Jacobs (knee) and receiver Savion Williams (foot) returning to practice for the Green Bay Packers on Thursday, the Packers’ only non-participants in practice this week have been defensive lineman Karl Brooks (ankle), linebacker Quay Walker (neck) and cornerback Nate Hobbs (knee). Green Bay should be relatively healthy going into their matchup on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.
At the moment, the Packers are hovering around touchdown favorites at home versus the Vikings, similar to the confidence that the bookmakers had in Green Bay over the New York Giants last week.
What do you think happens in this game, and who do you think makes it out with a win?
Personally, I’m putting all my eggs into the “J.J. McCarthy is not a starting quarterback” basket. So far this year, McCarthy has completed just 74 of 140 passes (53 percent) for six touchdowns and eight interceptions. His passer rating is just 61.7, and his adjusted net yards per attempt (which also takes into account of his 15 sacks for 77 yards) is just 3.39.
He’s bad. Our defense is good. We should win this one. Give me the Packers by more than a score, but what say you?
