Packers-Bears game thread: Caleb Williams looks to build a cushion in the NFC North

The Chicago Bears host the Green Bay Packers in an NFC North matchup that’ll certainly impact the playoff seedings. The Bears enter this contest at 10-4, while the Packers are 9-4-1. Green Bay won this matchup two weeks ago, 28-21, and held a 14-3 halftime lead before Chicago played a strong second half.

But this is a much different team than the one we saw in Lambeau Field a couple of weeks ago. Micah Parsons won’t be on the field. That alters just about everything on Green Bay’s defense. It should also give Caleb Williams more time to scan the field.

The Bears’ rushing attack could also find some success, much like they did a couple of weeks ago. But we’re not far removed from Green Bay looking like one of the best teams in the NFC. Will Parsons make that much of a difference? We are about to find out.

The 49ers could very well face one of these teams in the postseason. They’ll host Chicago next week.
