Mark your calendars for August 2 and July 23.
For Green Bay Packers fans who enjoy making the pilgrimage to Lambeau Field for training camp, there is good news on Wednesday morning. The team announced the date of their first 2025 training camp practice today, along with the date and other key information regarding the annual Family Night event.
First up is the start of training camp, with the first practice set to take place on Wednesday, July 23. Players will begin reporting for camp in the days leading up to practice, while the team’s annual shareholders’ meeting will also be held in close proximity — perhaps the day before on July 22.
The Packers have not yet finalized the entire practice schedule, but there will be two sets of joint practices this year as well. The first will come on the road ahead of the team’s second preseason game, when they will take on the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday, August 16th. That schedule will probably find the Packers and Colts practicing together on Wednesday and Thursday that week, potentially eliminating one or two public practices in Green Bay.
The second set of joint practices will be in Green Bay the following week ahead of the Packers’ preseason finale against the Seattle Seahawks. There are no details so far on those dates or whether these joint practices will be open to the public.
The big public event of the summer, however, is Family Night, which is officially locked in for Saturday, August 2nd. Doors will open at 5:30 PM, followed by player introductions and warmups at 7:00 and the start of practice at 7:30. Family Night tickets will be available starting on Monday, June 16th.
Family Night always draws a massive crowd to Lambeau Field, and this year’s event should be no exception. Additionally, the practice will be broadcast live on TV stations across the Packers TV Network.
