Pride of Detroit Pride of Detroit

Which player needs to step up on Sunday in order for the Lions to continue their winning ways against the Bills?

It will likely be one of the more talked about games of the Week 15 slate, and for good reason. The Buffalo Bills and MVP candidate Josh Allen come to town to face off against the NFC-leading Detroit Lions this Sunday at Ford Field in a game that many are tabbing as a potential Super Bowl preview.

Fresh off of a 44-42 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 14, the Bills will be looking to rebound in Detroit against a Lions team that could be getting some help back on the defensive side of the ball.

That brings us to today’s Question of the Day:

Who needs to step up for the Lions to win against the Bills?

My answer: To piggyback off my friend Brandon Knapp’s point from earlier in the week, I think Detroit is going to need a monster game from the offensive line and running backs against the Bills in order to win their 12th game in a row.

To be blunt, I think there is little a team can do to slow down Bills quarterback Josh Allen at the moment. That is how good he is playing. Everything can be bottled up in the secondary, and he will make back-breaking plays with his feet. Additionally, he is doing a great job of not turning the ball over, which is something that Allen struggled with earlier on in his career in Buffalo.

I think Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn and his group of “Northern Savages” will do the best they can, but I believe this will be a week where the offense will need to carry the load.

How about you? Who do you think needs to have a big day in order for the Lions to win against Buffalo? Let us know in the comments below.
