We want to know when the fans think the Bears will be on the cusp of a championship.
There is plenty of excitement around the Chicago Bears fan base. With Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams here, expectations are the highest they’ve been so far this decade.
Bears fans are hopeful that the Bears could be a playoff team as soon as this season, but how soon can this team be competing for a Super Bowl? To find that out, we have a question for the fans.
We are setting the bar a little lower than a Super Bowl here. How soon can this team be in the NFL’s Final Four?
If you think the Bears will blast right past the NFC Championship game and reach the Super Bowl, let us know when you think that will happen! Not saying they won’t get further than the NFC title game, just setting the bar there.
My answer: I think the best way to approach this is with steady improvement. I think the 2025 season will see the Chicago Bears just miss the playoffs or just sneak in. If the Bears are at that point, they are probably looking at going 9-8 or 10-7, which would be a tremendous accomplishment this season.
I think the 2026 season is where this team should be pushing for a division title, and while, at that point, there’s always a chance the Bears could make the jump to be a true Super Bowl contender and reach the conference title game, I think they fall a bit short there.
I’m looking at the 2027 season as the time the Bears are contending for a Super Bowl. I think they will reach the NFC Championship game in 2027. Do they reach the Super Bowl? Too early to tell, but I think within a couple of years, this team should be strong enough to be in the mix for the Super Bowl, which will give them a strong chance to be one of the final four teams standing that season.
What do you say, Bears fans? Do you think the Bears could be in the NFC Championship just three seasons from now? Sound off in the comments section!
