Kliff Kingsbury is on the market after he mutually agreed to part ways with the Washington Commanders on Tuesday. The offensive-minded coach spent two seasons with the capital team, helping them reach the NFC championship game in 2024, following a 12-5 regular-season record, but failing to replicate that success in 2025 (5-12).

It didn’t take long for the former Arizona Cardinals head coach to draw interest from NFL teams. Diana Russini of The Athletic reported on Thursday that two teams requested to interview Kingsbury for their head-coaching vacancy.

Eight teams are looking for a new head coach this offseason, and the Baltimore Ravens and the Tennessee Titans placed their attention on the 46-year-old coach.

Kliff Kingsbury Makes Sense For Titans And Ravens

Kliff Kingsbury is one of the best offensive minds in the NFL. The former Commanders OC did a terrific job with Jayden Daniels during his rookie season, helping him win the 2024 Offensive Rookie of the Year award and become a Pro Bowler.

Kingsbury would have a second-year quarterback in Tennessee, Cam Ward, who showed promise in 2025. The former No. 1 overall pick is a work in progress and pairing him up with the right coach would take him to the next level.

On the other end, the Baltimore Ravens have a strong group on offense, but they looked stagnant at times during John Harbaugh’s final season. Kingsbury could also take Lamar Jackson to the next level. The prospect of coaching the two-time NFL MVP and Derrick Henry should entice many coaches around the league.

Kingsbury coached the Cardinals from 2019 through 2022, posting a 28-37-1 record in Arizona.
