It might be time for Odell Beckham Jr. to hang up his cleats for good.

The 32-year-old has been in the league since he was drafted by the New York Giants in 2014, and it might be time for him to consider his post-career moves, which will give him time to focus on himself.

Beckham Jr. revealed a health diagnosis he received early in February as he was diagnosed with a chronic condition known as seborrheic dermatitis.

The skin condition causes itching and flaking around his beard, which can also lead to soreness and irritation.

“I didn’t really think anything of it at all, especially because all my life I was a person who didn’t have any skincare routine,” Odell Beckham Jr. said, per PEOPLE.

“But it was uncomfortable for a while so I tried to find solutions myself.

“I started putting vitamin E oil on it to help so at least it doesn’t feel dry.

“Obviously, my appearance is what’s going to bring in the money or make certain deals.

“So I wasn’t ultra embarrassed by it.

“But I also know that being in a lot of pictures, it’s not something that I want to be seen.

“I really had to figure it out and find a solution for it.

“When I found out millions of others had this condition, it kind of just simplified it for me in not being embarrassed and just doing what we have to do.”

Three-time Pro Bowl receiver and former Super Bowl winner Odell Beckham Jr. was released by the Dolphins last year after registering only nine catches for 55 yards in nine games this past season.

Beckham, the No 12 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, shot to stardom in his first five NFL seasons with the New York Giants.

However, once he was traded to Cleveland, his career began to go downhill. He did have a resurgence with the Rams, but an ACL injury ended all hope of him ever getting back into form.

Odell Beckham Jr. Has Been On Four Different Teams In Four Years

The Miami Dolphins released WR Odell Beckham Jr. in December 2024 after the veteran receiver signed a one-year, $3 million deal months before.

He finished with just 55 receiving yards and no touchdowns in his one year with the club.

Beckham has been unable to find a home for the past four years. In fact, he has played for four different teams in the past four years; if you eliminate the year he missed due to a torn ACL in the Super Bowl.
