Police responded to an active shooter in New York City Monday evening. The frightening situation took place outside the NFL’ headquarters in Manhattan.

While the incident is believed to have occurred outside the league’s office on Park Avenue, the shooter fled into the building, according ProFootballTalk’s Mike Florio.

Authorities have taken two people involved in the shooting into custody and police have reported that two people were injured during the incident, including an officer.

The building that houses the NFL’s main office is on lockdown as it’s unclear if the shooter is still at large.
