Bucky Brooks of NFL.com released his rankings of the teams with the biggest Super Bowl windows, and unsurprisingly, the Lions were near the top of his list.
You have heard it ever since the 2024 season ended so painfully in the Divisional Round of the playoffs, but the Detroit Lions are setup for long-term success. It isn’t just those in Detroit that are thiking that way, either.
Bucky Brooks of NFL.com recently released his Super Bowl window rankings, where he has the Lions at second on the list, just behind the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.
“Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell have assembled a gritty group of competitors with outstanding skills and big-play ability,” wrote Brooks of the Lions’ high-powered offense. “From Jared Goff to a quintet of outstanding weapons (Jahmyr Gibbs, David Montgomery, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams and Sam LaPorta) and an ensemble of bullies up front (headlined by Penei Sewell and Frank Ragnow), the Lions are built to win utilizing force or finesse in 2025 and beyond.”
You can read the entire section about the Lions, as well as how the rest of Brooks’ rankings shake out right here.
