A new video shows Alim McNeill rehabbing his torn ACL post surgery.
Alim McNeill, one of the many casualties suffered by the Detroit Lions defense this past season, is taking steps on the road to recovery, a new rehab video shows.
Well, probably not very big physical steps. The fourth-year defensive tackle suffered a season-ending torn ACL in December against the Buffalo Bills that required surgery. In this video, originally posted by his physical therapist Derek Samuel, you can see McNeill lightly bending his knees with a medical device taking some readings.
At least in this video, it looks like things are going smooth and steady. In late January at locker room clean outs, he said he’s taking things day-by-day and has no set timeline to get back to playing football, reports Detroitlions.com’s Tim Twentyman.
“Now that we’re done, I gotta get back on the field as fast as I can,” McNeill said, per Twentyman. “I’m not gonna rush or anything but I’m gonna push myself for sure.”
