The Houston Texans were hoping they could reach the Super Bowl this season after quarterback C.J. Stroud led them to an unexpected trip to the playoffs last season.
However, they were hit by injuries to wide receivers Stefon Diggs and Tank Dell, and they lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in this year’s divisional round of the AFC playoffs.
Texans wide receiver Nico Collins recently said he wants the Philadelphia Eagles to defeat the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.
“I’m gonna shoot it straight. I want Philly. It’s a great team, man. They’ve been here. … I like Jalen Hurts. I like A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith. I like their offense, that’s a great offense over there. I just want to see Philly win,” Collins said on “First Things First.”

Everyone has been talking about the Eagles defense, which could be the best in the NFL.
But their offense isn’t too shabby.
Philadelphia boasts running back Saquon Barkley, who is having the season of a lifetime after he reached the 2,000-yard mark in the regular season, as well as one of the league’s best wide receiver duos in Brown and Smith.
Quarterback Jalen Hurts may not be a titan in the passing game, but he ran for 630 yards and 14 touchdowns during the regular season, plus three rushing TDs in the NFC Championship Game.
One has to expect the Chiefs to stack the box versus the Eagles, and even if they play two high safeties in the secondary, the door could be ajar for Hurts to make plays in the intermediate passing game and methodically move the chains.
