The Philadelphia Eagles are back on top of the world.

For only the second time in franchise history, one of the most storied and popular teams in all of sports has clinched the Super Bowl title.

However, the common factor in both of their wins wasn’t even an Eagles player; it was Tom Brady.

That’s why, following the Eagles’ huge win over the Kansas City Chiefs, former QB Nick Foles made sure to take a hilarious jab at the seven-time Super Bowl champion.

He took to X to claim that Brady had been there for both of the Eagles’ Super Bowl wins, so he might be the team’s lucky charm or something like that (via Ari Meirov).

For those who may not remember, Foles and the Eagles defeated Brady’s New England Patriots in 2018.

Foles took the reins of the Eagles in the playoffs when MVP candidate Carson Wentz fell with an injury, leading them to an unlikely and historical championship.

Brady was in attendance again on Sunday night, this time in the booth as a commentator for FOX.

Foles’ career was one of the most bizarre in sports history.

He failed to impress as a starter, and injuries derailed what figured to be a solid career.

However, he will forever be remembered as the player who outplayed and beat Tom Brady in the Super Bowl, giving the Philadelphia Eagles their first championship.

He’s one of the few people with bragging rights over Brady.
