NFL Wild Card Weekend: Best parlays to consider for the Buccaneers, Commanders matchup

What will you put down this weekend?

The NFL Playoffs kick off this weekend and the Buccaneers are set to host Washington Sunday night at Raymond James Stadium. In celebration for this big weekend of football, FanDuel is kicking off a promotion for fans dubbed “Playoff Payoff” which allows you to put down some bets for a single “no-sweat SGP.” In other words, place a bet on a single game parlay and if you lose the SGP then you get your original bet back in bonus bets.

With that being said, we’ve plucked a few potential SGPs you may want to consider for this Sunday’s game between the Bucs and Washington.

Baker Mayfield: Alternate Passing Yards 225+ (-162)

Tampa Bay’s signal caller should have been in the discussion for season MVP. But that is a debate for another time. Mayfield has had no issues putting yardage up on the stat sheet through the air all season with the exception of a game or two. This matchup against Washington is tough as they have allowed an average of less than 200 passing yards per game in 2024. But Mayfield will find ways through the air to pick apart their pass defense with multiple options that can run after the catch. And that counts as yards for Baker.

Bucky Irving: Alternate Rushing Yards 80+ (-170)

Rookie running back Bucky Irving has already made a name for himself around Tampa Bay and is damn near close to doing the same nationally. While he hasn’t lit up the stat sheet, he has been consistently good running the football this season rushing for over 1,000 yards. Thanks to his ability to break tackles and make opponents miss, he averaged 5.4 yards per carry. Washington’s rush defense is a bit sketchy so this game could mean a big productive evening for the former Oregon Duck.

Jayden Daniels: Alternate Rushing Yards 50+ (-115)

Let’s be real here. Tampa Bay’s defense almost always struggles against scrambling quarterbacks. Thus, Daniels’ ability to pick up yardage on the ground is a scary reality the Bucs defense has to face. Their last meeting back in Week 1 the rookie quarterback ran for 88 yards. He could rush for the same amount, but optimism says Tampa Bay could hold him to a bit less.
