NFL Week 9 staff picks: Moneyline, spread, over/under predictions
Pride of Detroit Pride of Detroit

We’re on the eve of Halloween, so reader beware: you’re in for a scare—especially with the way some of these staff members make their picks. So pop in your copy of Devil’s Night, D12’s debut studio album for those uninitiated, and check out what Week 9 has to offer.

As we have done in past seasons, our staff will be making weekly predictions for every game on the NFL schedule. Each of the Pride of Detroit staff will pick the moneyline (winner of the game, no spread), but some of the members will also pick against the spread and even the over/under lines—there’s an easy-to-use toggle button in the widget below to cycle through the settings and in the week’s ahead, check out our records when it comes to making picks. You can also check out all of the odds for this week’s games courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.

For the second week in a row, no divisional matchup this week on “Thursday Night Football.” At 8:15 p.m. ET over on Amazon Prime, the Baltimore Ravens (2-5) travel 30 minutes north of South Beach to Hard Rock Stadium for a matchup with the Miami Dolphins (2-6).

Four teams are on bye this week—the Cleveland Browns, Philadelphia Eagles, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and New York Jets—so the NFL has 12 games scheduled for Sunday. No international games again this weekend, so you can celebrate the end of Daylight Savings Time accordingly.

The local Detroit audience will have a couple of options to choose from in the 1 p.m. slot, but let’s be honest, you’ll be locked in on the FOX broadcast. The hometown Detroit Lions (5-2) return from the bye week to welcome the Minnesota Vikings (3-4) into Ford Field at 1 p.m. ET. Over on CBS, the majority of the state will get an interconference matchup between the Chicago Bears (4-3) and Cincinnati Bengals (3-5) from Paycor Stadium in the early time slot. In the late window, CBS will have the only offering for the entire country when the Kansas City Chiefs (5-3) head to upstate New York to take on the Buffalo Bills (5-2) at 4:25 p.m. ET from Highmark Stadium.

“Sunday Night Football” closes out the day of football with matchup between two playoff contenders when the Seattle Seahawks (5-2) travel to the nation’s capitol to face off with the Washington Commanders (3-5) from Northwest Stadium at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC.

“Monday Night Football” has a battle between two teams on the outside looking in when it comes to postseason aspirations. On ABC/ESPN, the Arizona Cardinals (2-5) travel to Texas to play the Dallas Cowboys (3-4-1) at 8:15 p.m. ET.

Here is who our staff is picking on the moneyline, spread, and over/under for all 14 games on the NFL Week 9 schedule:
