Field Gulls
The Seattle Seahawks’ first 10 am PT game of the season is a toughie against the Pittsburgh Steelers, who have Aaron Rodgers at quarterback and DK Metcalf as the top receiver. Pittsburgh rallied for a dramatic 34-32 win over the New York Jets in a scoreline that warrants a double take, if not a spit take. This is the home opener for the Steelers and the first road game for the Seahawks, who were a stellar 7-1 away from Lumen Field last season.
FOX Sports has the broadcast of Seahawks at Steelers, with Adam Amin and Mark Sanchez on the call. This duo worked a few Seahawks games last year, most notably wins over the New York Jets and Arizona Cardinals, but also that (in effect) season-ending loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Unsurprisingly, the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys are the lead doubleheader game in the 10 am window, so the distribution is not vast for Seahawks-Steelers.
