The POD staff make their predictions for the Week 15 slate of games in the NFL.
As the temperatures continue to dip as we head into winter, the NFL schedule and playoff races are heating up. Here at Pride of Detroit, our staff have made their picks for not only Thursday night’s game, but the entire slate of Week 15 games.
This week, we get a divisional showdown for “Thursday Night Football” between the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers. That heated NFC West rivalry kicks off at 8:15 p.m. ET on Amazon Prime Video.
Now that every team has had their bye, the rest of the NFL is back to work on Sunday with 13 games scheduled.
On Sunday afternoon, Michigan viewers can tune in to CBS for an AFC matchup between the Cleveland Browns and Kansas City Chiefs at 1:00 p.m. ET with Ian Eagle and Charles Davis calling the action. FOX will counter with a contest between two teams near the bottom of the NFC standings when the Dallas Cowboys travel to the east coast for a game against the spunky Carolina Panthers at 1:00 p.m. ET.
At 4:25 p.m. ET, CBS has the marquee matchup of the week that pits two explosive offenses against each other: the 12-1 Detroit Lions host the 10-3 Buffalo Bills at Ford Field. The other game airing in the late slot on FOX features an intrastate, interconference showdown when the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Philadelphia Eagles at 4:25 p.m ET.
NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” features the Green Bay Packers traveling to Seattle to face the Seahawks at 8:20 p.m. ET. This game holds significant weight in the NFC playoff race, with playoff positions on the line.
ESPN and ABC offers yet another “Monday Night Football” doubleheaders. First, the Chicago Bears face the Minnesota Vikings at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC, followed shortly thereafter by the Atlanta Falcons visiting the Las Vegas Raiders at 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
As we have done in past seasons, our staff will be making weekly predictions for every game on the NFL schedule. Each of the Pride of Detroit staff will pick the moneyline (winner of the game, no spread), but some of the members will also pick against the spread and even the over/under lines—there’s an easy toggle button in the widget below to cycle through the settings. You can also check out all of the odds for this week’s games courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.
Here is who our staff is picking on the moneyline, spread, and over/under for all 16 games on the NFL Week 15 schedule:
