NFL Week 1 Sunday Schedule: Division games own the airwaves

It’s finally here. The first Sunday of the 2025 NFL season has arrived, and with it come 13 games across three time slots. There are a handful of big matchups and divisional clashes taking place today, with the Green Bay Packers co-headlining one of today’s two biggest contests.

The Packers open at home for the first time in seven years, hosting the two-time defending NFC North champion Detroit Lions. Detroit has had the Packers’ number, winning five of the last six games between these two teams, but the Packers are favored this week, in part due to major brain drain from the Lions’ coaching staff. That game gets a nearly-national audience in the late afternoon time slot, matching up with Rams-Texans on CBS at the same time.

There’s another late afternoon divisional game on FOX, with the 49ers and Seahawks kicking off a few minutes earlier, but before that three more division games take place in the early afternoon. Those games are Giants-Commanders, Bucs-Falcons, and Bengals-Browns, all of which are also on FOX.

Tonight will be a doozy in prime time as well. Though not a game between two teams in the same division, Sunday Night Football does get two teams that are very familiar with each other as the Ravens and Bills square off. Those two met twice last year, once in the regular season (a Ravens win) and again in the Divisional Playoffs, where the Bills moved on.

Here’s your complete schedule for Sunday’s games.
