NFL Week 1: Seahawks vs. 49ers TV coverage map and commentators

The Seattle Seahawks open the season with a 1:05 pm PT kickoff against the San Francisco 49ers on FOX, which is only broadcasting one game this Sunday. Usually a 1:05 pm PT kickoff is not featured heavily in terms of television distribution, but Seahawks vs. 49ers clearly has second billing behind the main 10 am PT game between the New York Giants and Washington Commanders.

The No. 2 broadcast team of play-by-play voice Joe Davis and Greg Olsen (with sideline reporter Pam Oliver) will be on the call for this one. It’s the first time Olsen has called a game in Seattle since retiring from the NFL after an ill-fated one-year stint with the Seahawks. I know Olsen’s takes on the Seahawks have… irked some among the fanbase, so it’ll be interesting to see how this broadcast goes. Davis and Olsen did call last year’s dramatic Seahawks win in Santa Clara, so hopefully they’re a good luck charm.
