NFL Trade Rumors: Commanders gauging interest for Noah Igbinoghene

The Washington Commanders have been gauging trade interest from multiple teams in CB Noah Igbinoghene according to the Athletic’s Dianna Russini. He’s a former first round pick who was signed by Washington last offseason, and re-signed to another one-year deal this year. He was brought into a CB room that featured Emmanuel Forbes and Benjamin St-Juste, and earned playing time alongside rookie Mike Sainristil. He played 76% of the snaps on defense last season, and 13% of the special teams snaps.

Washington has been re-working the secondary since GM Adam Peters and HC Dan Quinn took over the team last year. They traded for Marshon Lattimore at the trade deadline, but a lingering hamstring injury limited him to two regular season, and three playoff games. He’s healthy and joined by second-round pick Trey Amos, and fellow veteran Jonathan Jones.

NFL teams have to cut their rosters down to 53 players by 4 p.m. ET today.
