One of the top offensive weapons rumored to be on the block ahead of Tuesday’s NFL trade deadline has found a new home, according to multiple reports.

Wide receiver Jakobi Meyers is reportedly being traded from the Las Vegas Raiders to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for a fourth- and sixth-round draft pick.

Dianna Russini of The Athletic was among the first to report the deal.

“The Jaguars are trading for WR Jakobi Meyers from the Raiders, sources tell me and @mikesilver.bsky.social. Las Vegas is receiving fourth and sixth-round picks in exchange from Jacksonville,” the senior NFL insider posted on Bluesky. “The Bills and Steelers were among the teams that inquired about Jakobi Meyers. Ultimately, Jacksonville — who placed Travis Hunter on IR last week – seals a deal for the ex-Raider.”

The Jaguars have been a relative surprise through the first half of the regular season, currently in the playoff picture at 5-3. Jacksonville recently lost two-way rookie Travis Hunter to injured reserve, however, while fellow wideout Brian Thomas (a 2024 Pro Bowler) has been dealing with a shoulder injury.

Meyers originally signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2019.

The 28-year-old spent his first four NFL seasons with the Patriots, recording 235 receptions for 2,758 yards and eight touchdowns across 60 games.

Meyers led New England in targets, receptions and receiving yards during the 2020 and 2021 campaigns, while pacing the Patriots in targets, receiving yards and touchdowns in 2022.

He registered career highs in targets (129), catches (87) and receiving yards (1,027) in 2024 and has posted 33 receptions for 352 scoreless yards this season with Las Vegas.
