NFL Suspends Former Ravens Kicker Justin Tucker

The NFL has suspended former Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker, the league announced on Thursday.

Tucker had been released by the Ravens back in May amid a series of sexual misconduct allegations. He will be suspended the first 10 weeks of the 2025 season, without pay, by the league. Tucker has not signed with another team since his release by the Ravens. He will serve his suspension whether he is under contract to a club or not.

If Tucker signs with another team, he will be eligible to participate in training camp and the preseason before his suspension starts in Week 1.

Tucker’s suspension following an NFL investigation into sexually inappropriate behavior. A total of 16 therapists from eight different spas have made allegations of inappropriate behavior by Tucker. All of the incidents reportedly occurred during sessions from 2012 to 2016. Tucker vehemently denied the allegations.

The Ravens drafted Arizona kicker Tyler Loop in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. The organization claimed the release of Tucker is purely a football decision.

After receiving a tip on Jan. 9, The Baltimore Banner began investigating and spoke to six massage therapists who recounted troubling firsthand experiences with Tucker from 2012 to 2016. The women said they had long wanted to tell their stories.

“I’ve told people about this over the years, and they either act like it’s hot goss[ip] or a joke,” said one therapist who worked on Tucker in 2016. “But it was really degrading.”

Two spas say they banned Tucker. He denies the bans and the behavior that women say has left them emotionally scarred.

Attorneys for Tucker denied the allegations of inappropriate behavior, calling them speculative and “impossible to prove.”

Tucker, who is one of the best kickers in NFL history, is considered a Ravens legend and was an icon in the Baltimore sports landscape before his fall from grace this year.
