Looking ahead to the slate of NFL games tomorrow, there are plenty of great matchups from an entertainment perspective and a few games that will likely be very high scoring. While both can be very beneficial for fantasy football managers, some of the best fantasy quarterbacks have difficult matchups in Week 10 that could significantly lower their potential production.
Based on the latest NFL stats entering Week 10, let’s dive into some of the top quarterbacks who draw some of the worst fantasy matchups this week.
It’s been a very productive season for Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love, who will take the field on Monday Night Football with a 13-3 TD-INT ratio and 2,071 passing yards. For as well as the 27-year-old quarterback is playing this fall, there’s not a ton of fantasy football upside in this matchup. That’s because the Philadelphia Eagles have limited their last four opponents to just 3 passing touchdowns with a 61.8 percent completion rate and an 83.4 QB rating in the last four games. That’s before they added edge rusher Jaelan Phillips. With the Packers offense now without Tucker Kraft (ACL) for the remainder of the season, Love’s fantasy ceiling takes an even bigger blow long-term.

Drake Maye has been one of the best fantasy quarterbacks this season. Entering Week 10, he has thrown for approximately 1,744 passing yards and 12 touchdowns along with 200 rushing yards and 2 rushing touchdowns through his first seven games. However, the NFL stats entering Week 10 do not project a very favorable matchup for him against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This is largely due to the possible absence of Kayshon Boutte, which would deplete his receiving options. Additionally, the New England Patriots defense has been very strong recently, allowing just 1 passing touchdown, 6.2 yards per attempt, with 5 interceptions and 15 sacks in their last three games before the bye. Furthermore, Maye has been sacked 16 times in the last three games, making it likely that his upside is limited in what is projected to be a low-scoring game.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are receiving excellent production this year from Baker Mayfield, who enters Week 10 averaging 239.9 passing yards per game, 7.1 yards per attempt and has a 13-2 TD-INT ratio. Unfortuntely, he’s missing top wideout Mike Evans for the foreseeable future. To make matters worse, this is a very tough matchup on Sunday versus the New England Patriots. Over the last seven games, New England has held opponents to 197.4 passing yards per game and 6.2 yards per attempt. The big plays won’t be there and with the Buccaneers also likely to be ineffective running the...
