The Giants took Carter in the third round of the 2018 draft after four seasons at Georgia. After four years with the Giants, the former Georgia star signed with his hometown Atlanta Falcons.

He spent the last three seasons there before signing with the Titans as a free agent in March.

Many fans might remember his most signature moment of blocking a field goal against Oklahoma in the second overtime. Sony Michel ripped off a 25-yard touchdown on the very next play to send UGA to the 2017 National Championship game in Atlanta.

Lorenzo Carter’s Georgia career saw him appear in 54 games. He piled up 165 total tackles, 14.5 sacks, and 21 tackles for loss during that time. He also recovered six fumbles in a Georgia uniform.

At such a young age, who knows if he might change his mind and return either later this year or next year.
