The NFL deleted a video detailing Tom Brady’s involvement with the Las Vegas Raiders — particularly the Chip Kelly-coached offense — on Monday night during the Los Angeles Chargers versus Las Vegas Raiders game. Brady is both a minority owner of the Raiders and Fox’s #1 NFL analyst.
Despite an apparent conflict of interest, the NFL has allowed Tom Brady to continue calling games for Fox while also being a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. Brady bought 10% stake of the team for about $200-$300 million in 2024.
That seeming conflict of interest hasn’t taken long to come to a head, though, as the NFL deleted a video from their social media that detailed how Brady speaks with Raiders OC Chip Kelly “two to three times a week.”
The commentary’s comments about Brady came as the legendary NFL QB sat in the coaches booth — not a private suite or owner’s box — to watch the game between the Raiders and Chargers.
This is such a ridiculous conflict of interest.
Brady was just calling the Commanders game last week. Got tons of behind the scenes access. But he can just be in the coaching booth when they play in WSH next week?

As some NFL fans have noticed, Brady is doing this while also being able to sit down for production meetings with other NFL coaching staffs to acquire information.

“We should all care way more that Brady gets to get intel on NFL teams every week that no other owner has access to and report it directly back to the Raiders. It’s insane it’s allowed,” one NFL complained on Twitter in a viral tweet.
Furthermore, next week Brady will be calling the game between the Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys. The following week, the Raiders — armed with Brady’s knowledge — will take on the Bears.
Following their loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football, the 1-1 Las Vegas Raiders will look to climb back above .500 when they head east to take on the Washington Commanders in Week 3.
