Hendrickson is under contract with the Bengals for another season and would earn $16 million without an extension.

The Pittsburgh Steelers recently gave defensive star TJ Watt a three-year, $123 million extension with $108M guaranteed. Anything close to this would get Hendrickson back into the fold as the season draws near.

As a result, Trey Hendrickson has seen his name floated in many trade proposals.

Now, the standout Bengals defensive end’s name is floating in yet another proposal to keep him in the AFC.

On Twitter, a massive viral proposal has Trey Hendrickson landing with the Cleveland Browns to put him on the same team as Myles Garrett. In return, the Browns would send Kenny Pickett, Greg Newsome, and a first-round pick.

Trey Hendrickson Avoiding Losing Money By Not Showing Up To Camp, But Things Are Going To Change With Played Games

The Bengals must fine Hendrickson $50,000 for each day of camp he misses.

In addition, any preseason or regular-season game he misses would result in a salary loss of $877,777, according to Spotrac.

Hendrickson attended his first training camp practice late last month. He will not participate until he receives the deal he covets.

Hendrickson has recorded 17.5 sacks in each of the past two seasons.

Cincinnati hasn’t seemed all that inclined to shop Hendrickson, but there also doesn’t appear to have been much progress made on a potential deal.

The Cincinnati Bengals have recently begun considering trade offers for star pass-rusher Trey Hendrickson, involved in an ongoing contract dispute.
