NFL Rumors Roundup: Potential Alvin Kamara Trade, Trey Hendrickson, NFL Trade Candidates, More

The 2025 NFL trade deadline is on Tuesday, November 4 at 4:00 PM ET, and we’ve already seen a few NFL trades made within the past week. While the trade deadline is typically quiet, with most NFL rumors developing into nothing, it appears things will be very different this season.

Just a few weeks out from the NFL trade deadline, let’s dive into our roundup from some of the latest NFL trade rumors and notes from around the league.

NFL Trade Deadline Expected to be Unusually Active

It’s already been unusually active on the trade front this month with the Cleveland Browns (Joe Flacco), Baltimore Ravens (Odafe Oweh), Jacksonville Jaguars (Tyson Campbell and Tank Bigsby), Houston Texans (Cam Robinson) and Tennessee Titans (Jarvis Brownlee Jr) all making deals. View that as a sign. ESPN‘s Adam Schefter reported before Week 6 that there’s expected to be a more “active” market ahead of the NFL trade deadline. Three deals were made last week and, per league sources, another dozen-plus trades could be on the horizon by Nov. 4.

What NFL players Could be Traded?

The first thing to keep in mind is the NFL standings, focusing on teams with one win (Browns, Titans, Ravens, Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints) or fewer (Jets). Among those clubs, potential NFL trade candidates reported by ESPN include running backs Alvin Kamara and Jaylen Wright, wide receivers Chris Olave, Rashid Shaheed, Allen Lazard, Brandin Cooks and Tyler Lockett, tight ends David Njoju and Chig Okonkwo, offensive linemen Joel Bitonio, Wyatt Teller, Ethan Pocic and Kevin Zeitler and defenders Cameron Jordan, Sehlby Harris, Bradley Chubb, Jaelan Phillips, Arden Key and Dre’Mont Jones. It’s worth noting that Njoku suffered a knee injury in Week 6 and the Browns might want to keep their offensive line together in order to better evaluate Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders. There are a few other prominent players mentioned in NFL rumors that we’ll address individually.

Cincinnati Bengals Unlikely to Move Trey Hendrickson

Ahead of Sunday’s games, Dianna Russini of The Athletic reported that the San Francisco 49ers were expected to reach out about a Trey Hendrickson trade. 49ers’ general manager John Lynch is in the market for a pass rusher after losing Nick Bosa to an ACL tear. However, he’ll have to look elsewhere. Bleacher Report‘s James Palmer reported that the Bengals “aren’t there yet” in terms of a willingness to trade their All-Pro edge rusher. The Joe Flacco trade is evidence of that. Furthermore, Hendrickson suffered a minor back injury in Week 6.

NFL Teams Inquiring on Jermaine Johnson Trade

The Jets are the only winless NFL team in 2025. With a new general manager and head coach in place, there are no true loyalties to players brought in by the former regime. That’s led to clubs around the league inquiring about certain players on the Jets roster. Connor Hughes of SNY recently reported that several teams ahve called the Jets’ front office...
