Insider Ian Rapoport revealed a lengthy list of “nuggets” and “trade buzz” on Saturday afternoon, leading up to the Nov. 4 NFL trade deadline.

Among the pieces of news that Rapoport discussed was New England Patriots veteran defender Anfernee Jennings potentially being on the trade block.

“Patriots linebacker Anfernee Jennings, a starter the past two seasons, has been relegated to backup duties and teams in need of depth have mentioned his name as a possible trade candidate,” the longtime NFL media member wrote.

This isn’t the first time this year that Jennings’ name has been floated in trade rumors.

It was reported in August that the 28-year-old had been brought up in trade negotiations.

This came soon after ESPN’s Mike Reiss said that Jennings could get cut prior to New England’s 53-man roster crunch.

The 2020 third-round pick ended up making the final roster but has played in just four of the team’s first six games.

Jennings missed Week 1 against the Las Vegas Raiders before suiting up for each contest from Weeks 2 to 5, playing 65 defensive snaps and 65 more on special teams. Jennings has made just seven tackles this season and sat out Week 6 due to an ankle injury.
