The 2025 NFL season is upon us. To pick up where we left off last season we are ranking all 32 starting NFL quarterbacks for the 2025 season with today’s NFL quarterback power rankings.

To be clear, all of the QBs in this quarterback power rankings are capable of elite play. They are, by default, the 32 best quarterbacks on earth at any given time and that’s what has landed their names in these power rankings. But with that said, there are levels to this.

Power Ranking All 32 Starting NFL Quarterbacks For The 2025 Season

For the first NFL Starting Quarterback Power Rankings of the 2025 season we break it out into 4 tiers and count down from #32 to #1. So let’s get to it!

Tier 4 Quarterbacks: 32-20

These are the first quarterbacks to either move up the NFL starting quarterback power rankings or get demoted to the bench. We have a lot of rookie QBs in Tier 4 as well as the dinosaurs of the league who may not be listening when those closest to them suggest it might be time to retire… I think you know who I’m talking about here.

32. Spencer Rattler – New Orleans Saints

Spencer Rattler was just recently announced as the New Orleans Saints’ starter for their 2025 campaign which kicks off against the Arizona Cardinals. Rattler was in a heated battle with rookie QB Tyler Shough during the preseason which doesn’t come off as a major endorsement of his skills in New Orleans.

Week 1 will mark the 7th career start for Rattler. Last season he had an average QBR of just 37.1 while throwing for 4 TDs and 5 INTs in 7 games played (6 starts). Rattler will have to hustle in order to keep his job as the Saints starter as they’ll face the 49ers in Week 2 and travel to face the Bills in Week 4.

31. Aaron Rodgers – Pittsburgh Steelers

The 4-time NFL MVP award winner and Super Bowl XLV champion + MVP, Aaron Rodgers, comes into this season at 41 years old and he is with his third team in 4 years. Rodgers is not the same quarterback he was 10 years ago. Everyone seems to be able to see that but Aaron himself.

Rodgers’ threw 28 TDs and 11 INTs for the Jets in 2024, tossing 3,897 yards through the air. He has never been a runner but only scrambled for 107 yards through 17 games where the Jets only won 5 games. The entire NFL world will be watching Pittsburgh to see if Aaron can show flashes of brilliance after learning a new offense in a short period of time or if the experiment blows up in the Steelers’ face in Week 1.

30. Drake Maye – New England Patriots

Coming into his sophomore season, Drake Maye has a lot on his plate. This is a ‘make or break’ season for him after averaging just 55.2 QBR...
