NFL Insider Reveals Biggest Threat to New York Giants Hiring John Harbaugh
Sportsnaut Sportsnaut

As of right now, the New York Giants appear to be frontrunners to hire John Harbaugh as their next head coach. They just completed Harbaugh’s first in-person interview. While the nine NFL teams with head coaching vacancies are all believed to be in pursuit of Harbaugh (everyone except the Ravens), the Giants are the first to get him to meet with them face-to-face.

Harbaugh is already set for an in-person meeting with another team on Thursday, though they’re not expected to become frontrunners to hire the former Baltimore Ravens head coach either. Though another team could emerge in the next few days.

According to SNYtv’s Connor Hughes, the “Atlanta Falcons are more of a threat to the Giants than any other team. Granted, interviews can change that.”

Well, with Harbaugh set to interview with the Tennessee Titans on Thursday, the Falcons will want to act quickly to get on the former Super Bowl-winning head coach’s calendar too. Unless, they want to risk another team jumping into the mix too.

For now, the Falcons are still in the running. But any team that seemingly has a chance with Harbaugh and ends up missing out will surely feel left out. Plus, their fanbase won’t like finishing in anything short of first place either.
