NFL Network’s Adam Rank has a hrash ranking for the Saints in 2025.

The New Orleans Saints continue to get harsh projections.

NFL Network’s Adam Rank has released his game-by-game prediction for each NFL team for the 2025 season. Rank has the Saints going 2-15 on the year.

Rank admits it’s a tough task to project the Saints, as they are one of the teams with the most questions entering the 2025 season. From hiring a first-time head coach in Kellen Moore and the likelihood of starting a rookie quarterback, no one knows how the team will perform.

Rank harshly has his doubts about New Orleans, having the team start the year with a 0-5 record. The NFL insider projects the Saints to get their first win of the season in Week 6 versus the New England Patriots. The team’s next win will come the week after against the Chicago Bears.

After the team’s predicted two-game win streak, Rank has New Orleans finishing the season on an 11-game losing streak.

It's understandable for the NFL world to have its doubts about the Saints being contenders, but a 2-15 may be overkill. New Orleans hasn't won two or fewer games in a season since 1980, when they finished 1-15.

There's plenty of veteran talent on the roster with lots of experience inside the coaching staff. The Saints nearly hit rock bottom in 2024, finishing 5-12. It’s hard to imagine the team could be much worse than what they were last season.

Rank is famously known for his 2019 prediction of the San Francisco 49ers to go 3-13. The longtime insider almost had it right... If you switch the numbers around. The 49ers finished that year with a 13-3 record and a Super Bowl appearance.

The Saints probably won't be Super Bowl contenders in 2025, and we get that, but the combination of a strong veteran presence mixed with the second-easiest strength of schedule makes it hard to believe New Orleans would only pull out with two wins in 2025.
