NFL insider predicts Miami Dolphins trade involving All-Pro talent soon

With Tua Tagovailoa being limited to just 11 games due to injuries, the Miami Dolphins had another tough season of missing the playoffs. It wasn’t all bad in South Beach, as the Dolphins still won eight games. Yet, despite the Dolphins trying to return to the postseason, they’re still trying to get rid of an All-Pro talent.

Yet, the Dolphins have been trying to trade Jalen Ramsey all offseason long. Though, teams aren’t exactly eager to take on Ramsey’s contract, which calls for a $16.6 million cap hit in 2025.

However, Sports Illustrated’s NFL insider Albert Breer still believes the Dolphins will wind up trading Ramsey, possibly right around when Miami’s training camp kicks off on Saturday, July 26.

Now that two-time Pro Bowl cornerback Jaire Alexander is off the market, Ramsey is the next-best option available. Yet, teams could do a lot worse than the three-time All-Pro cornerback, even if he will be 31 in October.

Unlike Alexander, who’s been limited to just 14 games across the past two seasons, Ramsey’s durability is proven. The former Super Bowl winner played in all 17 games for the Dolphins last season after surviving just 10 in his first season with Miami in 2023.
