The fourteenth annual NFL Honors show was televised Thursday night. Snoop Dogg hosted the event this year, which aired on FOX at 9:00 pm ET.
For Browns fans, the big story was whether DE Myles Garrett would win the AP Defensive Player of the Year award for the second year in a row. He did not — but at least he still beat Steelers DE T.J. Watt. There actually was a confusing snafu on the broadcast, though, as the on-screen graphic falsely listed Garrett as the winner:
RB Nick Chubb also received some votes for Comeback Player of the Year, but he didn’t come close to winning it. Browns RT Jack Conklin also received a vote. After Cleveland took home four awards last year, they came up empty (understandably so) this year.
Browns QB Jameis Winston was at the NFL Honors this year, but he’s also been busy doing the entire media circus and having a blast.
The winner was Commanders QB Jayden Daniels, who had 49 first-place votes and 495 points. Raiders TE Brock Bowers came in second and was the only other person to receive a first-place vote. Full vote breakdown.

The winner was Bengals QB Joe Burrow, who had 31 first-place votes and 370 points. Chargers RB J.K. Dobbins finished in second, and Vikings QB Sam Darnold was in third.
