Today marks day two of the free agency negotiation period in the NFL. The Tennessee Titans made a couple of moves yesterday signing left tackle Dan Moore from the Pittsburgh Steelers and linebacker Cody Barton from the Denver Broncos. There was a lot of hand-wringing about the money paid to Moore, but the money doesn’t matter. I got more into that on today’s Home Run Throwback. Listen here.
There were conflicting reports yesterday on the Titans interest in Russell Wilson. There was a report that they were interested and a report that they weren’t. Keep an eye on the quarterback thing today. If the Titans don’t bring in a veteran quarterback who is capable of starting this week, then you can pretty safely assume they will be sticking at the first pick in the draft and taking Cam Ward.
