Well, well… Pretty cool to see Saquon Barkley wear the exact same kicks on the way to the locker room when I opened up Instagram on Sunday. They are a really nice Penn State color, so respect. Excellent choice in comfortable yet stylish footwear on a big day for the Birds at home:

Week 3 of the NFL season began to separate the contenders from the pretenders, with a clear pack of undefeated teams emerging at the top. How can you not be locked in after a weekend like that?
I have to start with that Eagles-Rams game. Just an absolutely wild ending. Philly stays a perfect 3-0 on a last-second blocked field goal that turned into a big-man touchdown for the win. You can’t make this stuff up! The Eagles aren’t the only ones in the 3-0 club, either. The Chargers, Colts, Bills, and Niners are all undefeated, establishing themselves as the early teams to beat.
It’s not just the players, either; the coaching chess matches are heating up. You’ve got guys like Jim Harbaugh turning the Chargers into legit Super Bowl contenders right out of the gate. On the flip side, you have the master, Andy Reid, whose Chiefs look a little shaky for the first time in a while, even in a win. And you can’t ignore what Sean McVay is doing with the Rams or the incredible culture Dan Campbell has built in Detroit. The sideline drama is just as good as what’s happening on the field.
Beyond the team records, the quarterback’s play was electric. Justin Herbert is on another planet right now (which rocks, since he’s on my team in our BroBible staff fantasy league), leading all passers with 860 yards and looking like the clear MVP frontrunner. In Chicago, Caleb Williams finally had that massive breakout game everyone was waiting for, tossing four touchdowns. Feels like it was a long time coming. And who had Daniel Jones in the MVP conversation on their 2025 bingo card? The guy has been incredible for the Colts, and you have to give massive kudos to Carlie Irsay-Gordon and her sisters, Casey Foyt and Kalen Jackson, as they lead the Colts into a new era after the passing of their father.
And, before we get to tunnel fits, can we get a wellness check on the city of New York? Russell Wilson threw for 450+ yards, and the Giants still managed to be a mess. You almost have to respect it.
The number one thing that caught my eye this week was
