Week 7 of the NFL and Fantasy Football season is here and it’s time to solidify fantasy lineups and make a plan for the latter half of the season. With the rollercoaster of emotions that comes with any year in the NFL, this year has been typically peculiar from a fantasy perspective in terms of preseason projections being completely off. One position that has seen quite a bit of change has been the kicker slot, and undervalued position that could guarantee 10.0 fantasy points on any given week.
No notable injuries to kickers occurred during Week 6 action. The recent season-ending injury to Indianapolis Colts’ Spencer Shrader is the last significant loss at the position. Packers’ kicker Brandon McManus was unable to suit up against the Bengals, causing the team to roll with second-stringer Lucas Havrisik, connecting on two field goals and three extra-point tries. Havrisik was released earlier this week, indicating McManus will likely return to action.
With new teams heading into the bye and changes at the top of the rankings, we’ll take a look at the best kickers of the week and which you can leave on your bench.

This Week’s Top-5 Kicker Starts:
Eddy Pineiro (SF) – vs. ATL
Eddy Pineiro is coming off his best fantasy performance of the 2025 season, scoring 18.0 points and going 4-4 on field goal tries including a 59-yard make. With pieces of the 49ers’ offense slowly coming back from injury, this team is only on their way to reaching their full potential. They’ve also been using Pineiro a ton since they’ve struggled to find the end zone, attempting at least two field goals in every game this season.
The San Francisco 49ers draw the Atlanta Falcons in Week 7, a team allowing an average of 8.8 fantasy points to opposing kickers per game. This may be due to their strong defense, so expect a number of San Francisco drives to stall out near midfield, resulting in all the more opportunities for Pineiro.
Andy Borregales (NE) – vs. TEN
The New England Patriots are looking like one of the scary darkhorses in the AFC thanks to the emergence of Drake Maye as a top-5 quarterback in the league. The Patriots are averaging the sixth-most passing yards per game (244.5) and average 25.0 points per game. As of late, Borregales has been getting a ton of work thanks to the high-volume passing and air attack from this offense.
The Tennessee Titans have been allowing 26.8 points per game to opponents, but the Patriots may be looking to run this score up considering it’s Mike Vrabel’s first time facing his former team. Look for New England to...
